Leader of the pack
The next evolutionary Suzuki vehicle is nearly ready to touch down on Australian shores.
Packing in new levels of comfort, technology and efficiency, the new S-Cross is scheduled to go on sale in January. It looks set to be an ace in the pack of Suzuki’s rich history, boasting revolutionary vehicles such as the Jimny, Swift and the original Vitara.
The S-Cross comes with a host of features sure to appeal to Australian customers including more interior space and one of the largest luggage carrying capacities in its class. It also boasts a world first for Suzuki, with a double sliding glass panoramic sunroof.
The interior of the new S-Cross has been designed so Australian customers can pack more in. The soft padding adds comfort while the silver decorations contribute to a sporty look against the black interior.
Engineers have worked hard on ensuring the new S-Cross packs in maximum efficiency, with a fuel economy figure of just 5.8 litres per 100 km. Suzuki customers who like to explore away from the pack will enjoy the addition of ALLGRIP, an evolution of Suzuki’s intelligent all-wheel drive system. Teamed with a smooth CVT transmission, ALLGRIP means customers can select the right setting with the turn of a switch.
Satellite navigation with Bluetooth® and audio streaming will also be available so customers don’t stray too far from the pack. Safety has been packed in, with seven airbags and ESC so all occupants have peace of mind motoring.
